tech love heaven

heaven's come down
to hang out
pink, on the road
in front of the carpet store
a sleeping heart
exhales as i drive into it
making room for me
my foggy valentine

but for us the road unfurls itself...

we count the words in our pockets, we wonder

how it will be without them, we don't
stop walking, we know
there is far to go, sometimes

we think the night wind carries
the smell of the sea...

the future is but an extension of the present

i think the quote above is Eckardt Tolle?
have a party with yourself. get a glass of wine, write down everything you've ever wanted to do, with a timeline and how to do it. I'll post mine tomorrow...

inspiration no.1

today I chose patience and presence, and I am so grateful for that, and for friends who care.

gratitude...fill yourself up with it. It really is okay if what we love is gone tomorrow, or in the next moment. Love them intensely for just this moment. We can be grateful for beauty, kindness, pain that pushes us to new experiences and understanding, we can love every breath, every sensation. I had an idea for a visual of this, to cut flowers and leaves and the form of a tree from origami paper; as we give and recieve, the tree will bloom. Each kindness is written on the back of a flower or leaf. Our tree will be a big, Gustav Klimt 1 sort of tree covering up some ripped wallpaper and adding art to our otherwise empty room. love love love gustav klimt. I just may take up painting. 'til tomorrow, take good care.
